Finca Jazmin is a small seven acre farm in the Chinacla area of La Paz and is owned by Nancy Hernandez Contreras. She got her start in coffee at the ripe age of 8 years old, working next to her father picking ripe cherries. It was there that Nancy learned that hard work and discipline are the keys to producing excellent coffee. Now a skilled farmer and producer in her own right, Nancy, along with her brother, Elvis, roast their own coffee and operate 3 cafes in Marcala. It has not always been culturally acceptable for woman to own land in Honduras, so Nancy has had to work that much harder to prove herself. Her passion and dedication to her craft are evident from seed to cup and we’re so proud to offer her coffee! Tasting Notes: White grape, butterscotch and cantaloupe.
