The Kayon Mountain Coffee Farm sits on 1,200 acres, with approximately 60% of the land planted with coffee trees. The remaining land is reserved for indigenous shade trees, which helps protect the coffee crop as well as creating compost to fertilize naturally. Since 2012, Ismel Hassen and his family have owned the farm, which is located 317 miles south of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia’s capital. Baking spices & cooked peaches in aroma with notes of lemon, apricot and honey roasted cherry tomato. Very creamy mouthfeel, clean finish.
