The Yandaro washing station is located in the Kayanza province of northern Burundi, near the Rwandan border. The name Yandaro comes from the Kirundi word “indaro” which means “lodging”. While washing their herds of cows, farmers in the area would build bee-hive shaped camps along the river, which were also called indaros. Our design for this bag is inspired by those camps. Tasting Notes: Sweet orange marmalade, brown sugar and black tea.
